Rebuild of a Screwdriver made in 1993

Our customer contacted us about rebuilding a Screwdriver (Model SD-107) that was built in 1993. The unit had been taken off the production line and many parts had been removed. The customer sent in the unit to us, which allowed us to provide them with an accurate quote.

Quoting

First we disassembled the unit, this allowed us to determine which parts would need to be replaced, either a manufactured or a purchased component.

Refinishing

All items were cleaned, parts needing repainting are sandblasted and painted with Dixon Blue.

Rebuilding

This rebuild required the following new items air lines, feeder drum housing, feeder drum motor, and all related track feed parts and tooling.  The rebuild process happens like any new screwdriver, the unit is assembled according to the Customer specifications.  The screwdriver was rebuilt to include new advances that we had added to our current product lines.  Each screwdriver is set to the Customers new requirements in drive height, torque or depth.  A new manual was sent to the Customer.
